Over the weekend, I joined the Oxygen Run organized by Oxygen Gym, held around the beautiful Quranic Park at Al Khawaneej in Dubai. I signed up for the 10KM category, aiming to hit my sub-60 goal — and I’m happy to say I did it!
It wasn’t my new personal best, but it definitely felt like a strong run. The route was challenging yet enjoyable, with just the right mix of flat stretches and testing inclines that kept me pushing hard all the way. There were moments it got tough, but that’s part of what makes these runs so rewarding.
The venue was fantastic — calm, scenic, and ideal for a morning run. The entire event was well-organized, from registration to the finish line. The Oxygen Gym team and volunteers did a great job keeping everything smooth and energetic. Hydration points were well-placed, and the crowd support added that extra motivation every runner needs toward the last few kilometers.
Even though I didn’t break my PB this time, I’m proud of the effort and consistency. Every run teaches something new — and this one reminded me that progress isn’t just about faster times, but about showing up, giving your best, and enjoying the journey.
Already looking forward to the next race — stronger, faster, and hopefully, with a new PB to celebrate!
